https://www.blogger.com/?hl=en&tab=jjWeek 13, Las Vegas Prime Doc, 40mm, Peppermill and Las Vegas Blvd South

This was a great week for me! I love this part of town, where I once worked in the old Bank building in a converted parking garage that we thought might fall down in an earth quake!  It was amazing to see how the old neighborhood had changed and  yet not changed; how the Peppermill is still always an hour late for everything!! how the Riv was weathering the storms; what was coming and what had gone. Really do miss the old Star Dust with its cute little fountains spouting.. Really hope they might finish the Fountainbleau someday... how  a lot of places are barely hanging on; and how the Circus looks a little worse for wear. I could have gotten a great deal on a helicopter ride. The people in the shops are still great; and some of them still won't believe I'm a local! Over all, it was a good day! Perhaps, a bit over-double exposed, but a lot of fun! Have fun and thanks for the memories!
